just came back from batam, n realised theres really quite alot of haunted look alike houses there Razz . maybe sg too little such old torn down houses, n when theres 1 we find it eeerry.

it's interesting how the garmen decide which buildings to conserve and which to tear down.. take for example the national theatre and the van kleef aquarium at the southern slope of fort canning. both also has colorful history, but both tore down...

Zack, it's pretty simple I guess.. That part where the Matilda house is located, have got no buildings. So maybe they just want to have the house there so can attract some people....

Vince, National Stadium also very memorable what... Also tear down. SG not like Mexico, America... Got condemned town to film documentaries like The Colony....

they built many houses behind it near the Shell but not around it.. thats why no building
