Need advice on 20" wheelset Empty
PostSubject: Need advice on 20" wheelset   Need advice on 20" wheelset I_icon_minitimeSat Jul 16, 2011 1:29 pm

I got to know Lovecycling Sg has one of the biggest , if not the biggest foldie group in Singapore.

I have been riding a stock Flamingo HT2007 for 2 months. Feel like changing a wheelset if it is not too expensive.

Want to check what are the options for wheelset?

Also can use BMX wheelset for the front wheel? since the rear bmx wheel dun have a splined body for the cassette.

Thanks.

think BMX wheelsets may not fit. will be too heavy and over built in terms of strength anyway.

You can check out Tyrell wheels, but not cheap. As they always say, you get what you pay for. need to pay more for good wheels. note that Flamingo uses a front hub that is 100mm wide, unlike Dahon 74mm.
