Welcome to LovecyclingSG.

Can I join your forum/facebook group and ride event?
Yes. Anyone can join the group/rides.
Any brand of bicycle is welcome.

What are the requirement / responsibility of the rider?
Rider must register his interest in the forum/facebook ride event and to give his contact to Organiser.
Rider need to have his own bicycle, spare tools, air pump, spare inner tubes and first aid kits etc.
Rider need to be confident on road riding and cycle minimum distance of 20km
Rider is to ensure his own safety.
Rider must be punctual for the ride event.
Rider is encouraged to have his Emergency Next Of Kin contacts card with him.
Rider join at his own risk and shall have no claims whatsoever against the Organiser for any possessions lost or stolen, or for any forms of injuries or mishaps, including the loss of life sustained before, during and after ride event.
Organiser reserved the right to cancel, change or modify the conduct of any event due to unforeseen circumstances.
Organiser reserved the right to ban any riders from joining the event.

Is helmet and safety gear compulsory for the ride? (safety gear ie: gloves, protecting gears, eye wear, cover shoe etc)
No, it is not compulsory. However, we do encourage rider to wear his helmet and safety gears for safety reason.

Is light compulsory for the night ride?
Yes, you need to have white light (front) and red light (rear) for the night ride.

Do I need to buy the LCSG jersey / T-shirt to join the ride?
No. You are free to wear your cycling attire / t-shirt.

There are few types of ride organise in LovecyclingSG forum/Facebook.

1) Sunday Relax Ride - suitable for newbie riders
*newbie rider must be able to control bike well, confident on road riding and cycle minimum distance of 20km
It is usually starts at 7:30 am and end at 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
Distance covers 20km above
Speed is around 18km/h to 25km/h
Terrain mainly on road, park connector network and pavement
Purpose of the ride – ERP - Eat, Ride, Photo. Exploring interesting places, enjoy good food, sexy pose for photo, meeting new friend and bike knowledge sharing etc.

2) Training ride (Terms and Conditions apply) - not suitable for newbie riders
The event will last 2 to 5 hours subject to Organiser’s decision
Distance covers 50km above
Speed is 25km/h above
Terrain is on road
Purpose of the ride – train for speed, stamina and endurance etc

3) Special events ride (Terms and Conditions apply - ie: 128km ride, King of da hill ride, overseas rides) - not suitable for newbie riders
The event will last half day subject to Organiser’s decision
Distance covers 80km above
Speed is 23km/h above
Terrain is on road
Purpose of the ride – train for speed, stamina and endurance etc

4) Impromptu rides / Training rides / Special rides / Invited rides organsie in LCSG Facebook
Pls refer to Organiser’s Terms and Conditions in Facebook

FAQ folding bike on SMRT

Can I bring my foldable bicycle on board anytime?
For the comfort of all passengers, you may only bring your foldable bicycle during the following times when our trains and buses are less crowded: Mondays to Fridays, 9.30am - 4.00pm and 8.00pm to the end of passenger service, and all day on weekends and public holidays.

Is there a size limit?
Yes, your bicycle should not exceed 114cm by 64cm by 36cm when folded.
