Extra info & Items to bring
Passport at least six months validity (pls check), must bring

ziplock bag to protect your handphone, electric items, passport etc if rain

1 – 2 bottle of water abt 500ml – 750ml will do, as the distance is short and there is shop selling water and the next rest point is abt 13 km only

Your bike size spare tube

Cheap rain cloth optional (can get from diaso or your house store) or just ride in the rain

Camera / video cam if you want to take photos/videos.

Dear Lisa and Berenda,

This is not a very leisurely ride as there will be many slopes to conquer, and the distance is not easy for beginners. Of course you are welcome to join, but some prior training is recommended. A certain level of fitness is required, and if you are able to cycle 50km in Singapore at a decent pace, you should do fine. This is not to discourage you from participating, but you need to know what ride you are signing up for.

Bless, you have been a regular rider with us, and you have improved tremendously! Should not be a problem for you.

Take the Vitesse, I think it has been proven at Desaru before by Mary, more gears for you to play with also.

Hi

I'm new here. I've been to Desaru once and I love the long distance but really find the numerous hills a real challenge.

Riders need to be physically fit and able to endure the long ride in all weather. Good bikes is a plus. Hope to get my D8 before the trip.
