For those who are cycling to the event, pls meet at 8:00 am at skate park beside tampines mrt.
For those who are going direct, pls meet at 8:30 am at the planting location, Blk 279, PCN under the MRT tracks. The Nparks folks will be there.

Hello all,

PCN has grown and progressed quite a lot over the years. I am really like esp to cycle and feel the wind on my face. It's a great place for kids and families to do some bonding. And its free!

So I am very glad to share that we can all help give back to the community and place. This Sunday we going to do something really different. We will plant! Lets come and have fun sweating!

"As part of the on-going inter-agency efforts to re-imagine Tampines, NParks is carrying out works to re-landscape our park connector under Tampines MRT viaduct. Some areas have been concreted and others will be re-planted with shade-loving plants.

In line with NParks’ effort to involve and engage our stakeholders to take ownership of our green spaces, we will like to invite LoveCyclingSG to participate in this upcoming community involvement planting project!"

Remarks
Light refreshments and drinks will be provided by Team Nparks

No need to bring tools, it will be provided by PCN team, but it might be a bit dirty. Will have some water to wash up.
The planting spot will be beside Blk 279, Tampines St 22

Safety is in your own hands. Let's have a correct safety mindset and watch for our own safety and others.
Some points to note:
Do not overtake the ride leader. Please abide by the requests of safety riders and help to sound out any given warnings/instructions.
Please comply with all traffic regulations at all times.
When riding on the road or in confined spaces, cycle in single file.
Do not let wheels overlap
Do not overtake from the left
Do not squeeze in between riders to overtake
Turn your head to check your blindspot before switching lanes
No earphones and headphones while riding
Do not make abrupt lane adjustments or abrupt stops
Keep the lights visible but not causing discomfort to other riders, pedestrians and motorists
Helmets, gloves and safety vests are not compulsory but recommended
Bring your own tools and spares, or cab fare in the event that you can't continue a ride.
No medication or prescription drugs will be handed out during any rides. If you need them, please supply your own.

Be punctual. We wait for slow riders, not late-comers
LCSG ride organisers reserve the right to turn down anyone from participating in our group rides if deemed to be unsuitable.
