9 & 16 April (Saturday). Desaru warmup Ride -CANCEL-

Hi Guys

I will be doing a warm-up ride on

Date: 9 and 16 April (Saturday)
Time: 8am - 12 noon
Location: Loyang and Changi area. Mainly navigating the slope around the area.
Speed: 20-25km
Gear: Rear Panniers or similar gear that you will be using for the Desaru ride. Will be good to test out your panniers with load etc
Objective: This is not a race but to get the body condition to the slope. How to handle up slope and down slope, proper use of gears etc.

On 9 April, KC will be sharing with us some tips on how to handle the slopes and other things like proper gear usage up and down slopes. I will share the same info. with the group on the 16 April ride.

Meeting Place: Carpark F2 at East Coast Park. 8am

Route:

1.We will ride towards Changi Village along the PCN. A short break at Changi Village for a cup of coffee/drinks. Heavy Breakfast not recommended.

2. From CV, we will take Netheravon Road towards Loyang Avenue.

3. From Loyang Ave, Turn into Loyang Way. Exploring the small roads in this area. There are a few slopes here.
For those who are not familiar, this is where the Changi Chapel, Changi Big Guns and Prison is located.

4. We will turn back to Loyang Ave, up the slope to and turn into Pasir Ris Drive 3 and Pasir Ris Drive 4

5. Head to Pasir Ris park for a break. Back to Loyang Ave and to Changi Village and back to East Coast Park.

7 ) We reserve the rights to refuse any participation from any cyclist(s) at any point of time.
8 ) To instill and promote safety in cycling, we will not hesitate to "STRONGLY ADVISE" rider(s) who compromises safety on himself and/or the whole group during the ride.
9 ) We are just an informal group of cyclists on MTBs, therefore none of us is liable or responsible for any accident or mishap that occurs to you during any of the rides we organise.
10 ) Wear a helmet / Proper covered shoes for your own safety.
11 ) Always cycle with safety in mind at all times.
12 ) By joining the ride, that means you have read the Terms and Conditions with full understanding.

hey guys,

i have cycled from ECP "water point" to macdonalds afew times but i dont recall F2 carpark. (Henry's coastal ride)


Coming from hougang, i would normally come from Hougang Ave3 , Jalan Eunos, Still Road, underground pass, macdonalds. Do i cycle towards the water point and pass F2 carpark along the way ?
