Hello Folks,
I want to share with u my childhood playground around Toa payoh ... which I visited a year ago...thankfully, it is still there when I went by yesterday. for more on my feelings and thoughts.. you can see here

Route: Potong pasir MTR, ride along the neighbourhood, see Mr Chiam "office" at blk 108, ride along the river >> Toa payoh lor 8>> photo taking at my old playground>> old food market at Kim keat(makan pitstop) >> old dragon style playground >> loop around Toa payoh and back track to Potong Pasir.

Pace: very slow and easy. I will try to get folks(Sitoh lai leh) who stay in Potong Pasir to share the interesting details of the town and I will share on my route to my primary school...

Meeting point: Potong Pasir MRT station , Start at 0730, move out by 0745. End of ride estimated before 12

1 ) This ride is open to all.
2 ) Be punctual. We wait for slow riders, not late-comers.
3 ) Ride will be canceled if heavy rain.
4 ) As rides are at night, its COMPULSORY to have lights, blinkers or light reflectors on your bike.
5 ) Bring your own spare tube or cab fare.
6 ) Wear a helmet / Proper covered shoes for your own safety.
7 ) Those joining the ride, pls comply to ALL LTA rules on cycling on public road during the ride.
8 ) Strictly cycle in a single file on public roads unless overtaking.
9 ) We reserve the rights to refuse any participation from any cyclist(s) at any point of time.
10 ) To instill and promote safety in cycling, we will not hesitate to "STRONGLY ADVISE" rider(s) who compromises safety on himself and/or the whole group during the ride.
11 ) We are just an informal group of cyclists, therefore none of us is liable or responsible for any accident or mishap that occurs to you during any of the rides we organise.
12 ) Always cycle with safety in mind at all times.
13 ) By joining the ride, means you have read the Terms and Conditions with full understanding

Toa Payoh was my hometown... but unfortunately, its a busy estate without much cycling routes. And Kim Keat old hawker centre was my childhood hangout where there was many punters... Not forgeting the bridge that links Kim Keat and Potong Pasir where interestingly, my friend always get a puncture when crossing (eerie).... Brings back the sweet memories when I was riding BMX... Count me in for this ride

Hmm...not familiar with Potong Pasir....any suggestion for free parking location??

Go in to Potong pasir... u will see parking every where... and it is free on Sunday...At least I looked 2 weeks ago...
