| Just a thought... What are the normal essential tools that one shld bring during a ride?? For me, ID, credit card, cash (enough for taking a cab back), phone.... but i reckoned a spare tools, patch, pump and probably a simple all-in-1 tool (but not too sure how to use). Do anyone bring the "reckoned tools"?? | |

| the minimum i bring is a multi tool, such as a Topeak Mini 9. As for spare tubes/tire levers/pump, I only bring it if I know I will absolutely need it, such as overseas or night rides. Otherwise, if you get a puncture, just take a bus/mrt/taxi to get home.

| I always believe in having the tools with me and don't need to use them rather then need them but don't have them. So the tools in my seat pouch are : 1) Spanners for pedals, seat post, head tube and hubs. 2) Odd sizes multi-tool spanners for smaller bolts as in brakes. 3) Allen wrenches for all allen capscrews sizes on my bike. 4) Chain breaker. 5) Spokes wrench. 6) Glueless patch kits (like handyplast). 7) Phillips and flat head screwdriver Tyre irons 9) Pliers. 10) Spare inner tube 11) Air pump (on bicycle frame) 12) Light weight poncho. 13) Face towels (one for face and one for cleaning up after repairs) 14) Tissue papers (in case pang sai) 15) Seat rain cover. I think that's about all. | |

Looking for suitable rain jacket able to fold small small, dunwan ponchos. For emergency chain repair get a "MissingLink" or some called it "MagicLink". It is just a removable single piece of chain link. Make sure get the correct size for your chain. Small light rain jacket you may find it at Daiso. | |
