TW, hope you are having a great time in Mekong. May you have a great and safe ride.
First a BIG BIG thank you for organising so many fantastic rides, one of which is this "choo choo" thrill ride.
I signed up to push and walk the bike.
But never in my wildest dream I had think of TRYING to ride the track.
Without the encouragement from whole lot of riders in the group & the presence of inspiring & brave Kimi, "a die die must try"
for the assurance, it would also not happen.
I was called "Crazy woman" by a familiar face when I greeted him as I proudly rode past (deep inside prayed hard I dont lose my balance at that moment
).
The 2nd challenge of riding mt faber would not happen if not for the communication breakdown & "blindly" following Kimi.
With Patrick riding alongside and I applying his earlier tips on how to climb slopes, I was able to pedal more than I pushed. The meandering down slope ride was so thrillllllllllllling. wooohooo.......
It was an achievement for me!
Thanks to all for making the ride safe and memorable, Steven Tang, Boon Chun & vince for the video and photos, "Sumo" Clarence for being patient and doing a great sweeper job, KC for the briefing on riding the railtrack, Patrick, Zack, Ahmad.......
