Hi Anyone interested in riding inTaiwan. I m planning 6 days trip to Taiwan.

Date/Time : 03-8 March 2012 ( Extended to 10 March 2012 if u stay for Taipei Bike Show)

Estimate Cost: Airfare Cost S$500, S$100 per day for Food & Hotel.

By bus/Train from Taipei to 浦里 Pu Lee.
Rest at 浦里 Pu Lee.Hotel.

Ride from 浦里 Pu Lee to 清境
Distance 30km Elevation 1754m
Rest at 维也纳庭园木屋

Day 3 05/03/2012
Ride 清境 to Wuling ( Heighest Point of Taiwan Mountain Road. )
Distance: 26 km Elevation 3275m
Rest at 滑雪山莊

Day 4 06/03/2012
Ride from 滑雪山莊 to Hotel Bayview in Hualien
89 km of Down hill Elevation 3275m to Sea level.
Rest at Hotel Bayview in Hualien

Day 5 07/03/2012
Ride from Bayview in Hualien to 苏澳 Train Station.
Distance: 80km of Scenic road along Taiwan East Coast
Train ride to Taipei.
Rest at Taipei hotel

1) I should be able to confirm if the trip doesn't overlap with school hols in March (so far I checked, it doesn't)
2) Are you folks planning to fly in a little earlier or return to S'pore a little later? If so, how many days?
3) Any plans to coincide with the Taiwan bike exhibition / fair?

If you want Aifine 11, I can check for u in Oct, when I in Taiwan. As for belt drive can check with Attitude Bike.

wow! another record! 2 hrs to fill in the slots! @Bro Al and mike, this will be really cool ride! I know ur chinese is bad... so in english there is a Vienna lodge which is like Taiwanese country wooden house. Click George link and u will blur. Also damm cool is to visit Taiwan no.2 highest 7-11. Yes!!! A 7-11 in the mountains! Of course the views are superb! Even my wife not into cycling see already...awestruck..and look at me and say... u got to do this.
