Help needed. A Strida or Dahon?

Hi everyone!
I'll like some help on the two bikes that i've set my mind on.
Either a Strida or a Dahon Briza/Ciao/Glide.
My budget is not more than $1k.

I've checked with MBS and they've only got Glide which is going for $1400, over my budget.
But i really like the retro looking frame of the bike.
Does anyone have any idea if the Briza or Ciao is cheaper and where can i get it?
Will i be able to travel on MRT/Bus with the Strida?

Sold my Strida, IMO Strida is not a bike for serious rides, and is over-priced. You can bring the Strida into MRT trains and buses during off-peak hours, this applies to Dahon and other foldies with 20" wheel or smaller. Get the Dahon.

Strida can be a bit not so Man friendly ...
esp when u brake too hard and yr saddle has no anti-slip..

strida is a very wobbly bike if u are not very skilled in cycling. you can't stand and ride... but its has the looks...
