Don't see much usage with it folded thou. Agree, will be good if it is lighter and less costly. But I reckon Dahon place a lot of R&D into this and structurally they may need more materials to make it safe. When folded it is "thinner" than a normal helmet, so u can slot in smaller bags! take a look when you are at MBS!

| Interesting, but one thing concerned is whether the folding areas will catch onto hair when worn? | |

| I think there's too much sharp edges on the plastic parts's edges. Any slip down facewards will cause cut onto nose bridge. I think if you own one, better get some needle file and file off all those sharp edges. Not very well thought in term of safety. I think someday some users will sue them for safety negligence. Don't think hair can get between slide area, at least not mine as I don't have spiky hair. Air ventilation is good enough, it won't beat those high end multi vents helmet. Weight will be acceptable for those who carries helmet light plus battery pack. Can feel the weight difference but manageable. White looks cool I think, better than Black. At least in day time, heat will not be easily absorbed. Score well in compactness when folded. No regret for the purchase and hope it perform as what is is intended for. Pray I won't be that guinea pig to provide update on intended performance. | |

Did you try it? How you feel? Haha Matt, I didn't try. But it does look ET-ish. The shop's ambience is relatively 'soothing' (is that how we say it?) Would be a nice place to chitchat plus play board games (mind's cafe) but wonder about the pricing of drinks etc... haha
