Some suggestions: - change or patch tires - clean chain and gears (without taking apart the gears) - how to adjust the gears when they slip - how to take out and put back rear tires especially (cos of gears) - how to adjust brakes if too tight or too loose - how to patch bicycle chain if it breaks (maybe for advanced course) | |

| there are new cleaning products at rodalink, you guys might want to take a look. one such product which caught my eye is a chain cleaner without the need of taking out the chain. costs a whopping $52! any brave souls intend to try it out and let us know if its worth the price?? | |

| ya just get a KMC or SRAM chain, take out the whole chain and do watever you wan to it. Makes it much easier to clean the other parts of the drivetrain like the cassette, chainring, jockey wheels. | |

| haha no problem we will help each other out. KMC and SRAM are brands of chain, they are good partly because they have this proprietary special link in the chain, which allows the chain to be disconnected by hand without using tools.
This allows the cyclist to take out the chain easily for maintenance.
