Earth Hour promotion ride (night edition)

This is the 2nd edition of Earth Hour promotion ride. Due to popular demand we will do it at night, take it easy, relax, food, coffee, visit cool places and help distribute the nice Earth Hour post card.

Date: 2012-03-24 (Saturday)
Time: 5pm
Meeting place: Lavender MRT open air carpark

Start from Lavender MRT (5pm), go pass Crawford Lane and turn into Haji Lane where there are a lot of young people, cafe, fashion shops and also 2-3 bike shops there (Tokyo Bike & 2 other Fixies)
Turning around to Arab Street again with lots of cafe and restaurants around . . Good place to give out flyers. We then can head over to Marina Square, Suntec City and over to Marina Bay Sands continuing with the hand out of flyers. By time should be around evening 6-7pm, we can head over to Lau Pat Sat or Maxwell Market for dinner.

After dinner, we around 8pm we will branch off to three different direction to ride home:
North to: Bishan /AMK/ Punggol/ Woodland
West to: RedHill /Clementi/ Jurong
East to: Geylang/ Bedok/ East Coast/ Changi
Central to: Town

At each location our target is at most 30mins so whole journey including riding time will be covered within a 5 hours period
Speed: Not fast, but for experience road riders who are comfortable riding with traffic.
Other ride information: prepare bright bright lights and reflectors!

For Riders joining the ride event, please observe the following.
Please inform RO/TS your contact numbers.
Please inform RO/TS if you are withdrawing from the ride or going to be late for the ride.
Please be punctual for the ride event.
Please bring your own emergency kit (Spare tubes, air pump etc)
RO/TS is not responsible for any injuries to riders and bicycles damages occurred before, during and after ride event.
Riders are to ensure their own safety.
Please be nice and patience to all riders.
