Bike Patrol with Waterways Watch Society (WWS)
Bike Patrol Session 1
Venue: Marina Reservoir
Date: Saturday, 30 June 2012
Time: 5.00pm – 7.30pm
Experience the Marina surroundings on a bike! Bike Patrol participants will enjoy a first hand, personal experience with Waterways Watch Society (WWS) members as they patrol the Marina Reservoir. Learn what it takes to be a guardian of our waterways as you take part in clean-up activities (picking up litter of man-made materials such as plastic, bottles, Styrofoam that would pollute our beautiful waters), and have a better understanding of our environment concerns. Individuals will be more exposed to the reality of our waterways and how anti-social behaviour can cause harm and damage to our environment.
Waterways Watch Society is an non-governmental organisation consisting of passionate champions for water sustainability in Singapore. They have been in operation since 1998 and Bike Patrol is one of their key weekly activity to help maintain and care for our waterways.
Please Note:
