Yea! We create awareness again for the cycling scene in Singapore! But of course, cycle with safety and follow the rules... =D

realised from the route info that we are setting off from ECP towards west coast, passing nicoll highway area. Just a note that GE 10KM is on the same day and the route we are taking might hit into the heart of that event. Anyone knows if there'll be clashes?

There ain't any road closure information yet.. (that I can find). If there are, then maybe we will have to route via Kallang, Victoria St ?

My apologies, now the maps are made public. Pls inform me if you have difficulties viewing.
I will try to have a PDF version for download.

--------------------------

This is the proposed route in Segments. Ill update accordingly.
The ride will be in clockwise direction so that we can clear Tuas - Lim Chu Kang when all is still wide awake.
Last stretch is Coastal Road - East Coast Park, the most painful stretch. It is a straight road so you dun need to think so much especially when u are shack! If you are really shack, take the PCN, it is very safe..slow and steady!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Segment 1: From East Coast park (Carpark Park B2) to West Coast Park MC Donald. Distance 18km.

Segment 2: From West Coast park (Mc Donald) to Kranji Dam Distance 32km.
Rest Stop at Jurong West (before City harvest Church) and Coffee Shop after Kranji Dam.
Cross with cautions: Round About at Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim Road

Segment 5: From Changi Village to ECP Carrpark. Distance 21km.
Final Push. For the last stretch, you can cycle via the service along ECP or on the PCN.

Hello ..Taiwoon,

Please put us in the "slow & steady" group. We are first time joining lovecyclingsg and looking forward to meet everyone.

As listed #25 Wey and #26 Ming are two ladies who have done quite a bit of cycling on and off road. #27 Bil, a lucky retired "young" grandfather and as age catch up preferred and fell in love with multi-mode cycle touring adventures on foldie ....... just "slow & steady" ... noting on speed, but hopefully able to maintain endurance and stamina.

Thanks / Bil
