| A suggestion. Will be good if someone can volunteer as photographer in each group or whoever have camera, grab some photo along the way. We can collate the photo at the end of the day. | |

| Perhaps we should appoint "medics" in each group and a Standard Operating procedure for all groups in event of "incidents" We should have personal among each group who knows who to call and how to call in case of emergency.
As Steven suggested, perhaps everyone can do a "ID tag" with
1) name and contact of NOK 2) blood grp 3) drug allergies. something simple like a piece of paper and then get it laminated. Especially our foreign friends from Malaysia.

I can do the SOP but for the ID card, I think should be each person do their own. For the medics I guess riders with medical experience could volunteer themselves? Im not first aid trained.

| I'll have my contingencies details written in black marker on white duct tape; plastered onto my bike and 'waterproofed' with scotch tape. | |

| yes.. i do agree that having the above mention safety is good but how many of us are medical trained and know the SOP?
thats why as mentioned before everyone registered.. 1. this is not a competition or sponsor event 2. ride terms and conditions have been stated
so i think it is up to the individual to take care of themselves.. well of cos the leads, sweepers and aux riders will try to do the best they can to help (my 2 cents)

| Friends, and fellow riders. Pls keep it simple (K.I.S.S). Whatever rocks ur boat! The onus is on the rider to have all items. That means plaster, deep heat, ass-cream, ice cream or whatever would make u comfortable. BUT U CARRY IT!
This is to train for ur personal safety- in the long run. If u can't even cope in a local conditions as good as this, I think it would be really dangerous and fool hardy for u to any long rides, esp in malaysia or other places. This ride prob wont kill u.. but give us a taste what it means to ride long distance... and what team work and comradeship really means. Not a race.. we ride as a team, eat as a team, suffer as a team, finish as a team. That's the aim. Lastly, I am very hearten to get help from the PROs at long distance rides! We have Patrick's "Titanium butts" crew riding with all groups. This are super commandos.. really solid, experienced riders and they gladly volunteered to help keep the groups tight, assist the leads and sweeper. See how they ride, chat with them to learn more. Not to be missed experience!
