I am not aware how steep or fast the down are along the chosen routes ... be aware that the continuous applying of brakes on long stretch of down hills may caused the rims to heat up, especially small wheels like 16". Over heated rims and tires are dangerous. Preferable practice intermediate braking on long down hill stretch for slowing down. Just my 2 cents.

King of da' hill=anyone up the hill, regardness method...ride yr bike, carry yr bike, push yr bike..as long with yr bike ups there. At least all dare to try..this is the spirit we are. any way 1st one no prizes and last one gain experience for the next hill.
