oh dear... afew people told me it is not physically to ride up Kent ridge...Anyone can do a recce on a foldie to "test test ".... I need help. Thanks!

Taiwoon Dai Gor....as what KC had said Kent ridge is quite siong 1....he suggested to take from buona vista coz there got slope but no steep.....and the slope there is long distance slope up(as in slope become higher higher) from there loop back and Mt Faber will be our grand finale.....or if not we go sentosa...there also got slope (dun believe ask Zack) or if not try the Telok Blangah there also got a few not much as siong as kent ridge slope....maybe someone can go and recce.....

I have tried before the hill at Labrador park on my foldie (that time not zhnged yet), although very steep but do-able. Descending have to apply brakes periodically as it is very steep also. estimated about 5-6 storeys above sea level? Ahmad can clarify on this?

I've rode the hill at Labrador on my Speed P8. Not very difficult going up but got to be careful while descending. Very short steep hill.

Most likely push the bike up and push the bike down too. Up no power down too scared . Hence a mtb to be on safe side.

Think got corpse found at Kent ridge so police cordon that area.

Kent ridge rideable along your can spin at 70 rpm at speed of 10-15 kmh.
If your bike have gear inches 23-28 in should not have any problem

Hi taiwoon, i ride dahon mu 24 so it should be Ok the slope ride. I think i achieve at least 20 km/h. I should be ok for this ride as i do ride with roadie on at weekly basis. Thanks again.

dun force urself to cycle up if u find it tough..
just push ur bike and have a nice scenery view at the top with ur mates

The Kent Ridge Park entrance from South Buona Vista Road is super steep. I don't think those with foldies can go up unless you have thunder thighs.

15yrs ago i tried with BMX and somehow still manage to go up
will try again within this week with a foldie to confirm
