Cycle Pack Collection for OCBC Cycle Singapore 2011 will be open on: . Friday, 4 March - 10am to 9pm . Saturday, 5 March - 10am to 9pm
When collecting your Cycle Pack(s), please be advised that participants MUST provide the following documents: . A copy of this email . Identity Card, Passport or Driving License
-------------------------------------------- Extracted from booklet -------------------------------------------- For the safety of all participants, please be aware of the following: -No helmet, no ride! It is mandatory to wear a helmet throughout your ride. -Specialist time trial bikes, bikes with disk wheels and bikes with aero bars are not allowed for all events. -Only conventional road bikes are allowed in The Super Challenge (60km) and Criterium Events. Conventional road bikes and mountain/trail bikes are allowed for The Nissan Challenge (40km), The Community Ride (20km) and the Mighty Savers™ Kids Ride (5km) & Tricycle Ride (100m). -Motorised vehicles, motorbikes, unicycles, tandem bikes and scooters are strictly forbidden on the routes. Kids' bikes with training wheels are only allowed in the Tricycle Ride. -Children under the age of six will be permitted to ride in a child seat with their parent or guardian in The Community Ride (20km), the Mighty SaversTM Kids Ride (5km) and iFly Singapore Cycle of Hope (4km) categories ONLY. -For safety reasons, participants are not allowed to listen to MP3 Players, iPods®, walkmans or mobile phones while riding.
The Community Ride (20km) All 20km riders will line up together but will be set off in batches of a few hundred at a time. Participants riding with child seats will be assembled at the rear.
The Nissan Challenge (40km) For the safety of participants, riders will be set off in waves (according to the anticipated finish times submitted upon registration) to ensure that riders of similar speed and ability are riding together. | Hi all, just discussed with Matt. 8:30am meeting may be too tight. Let's meet at 8am at the Subway sandwich store at the Flyer, which is next to the stating line (F1 Pit). At 8:30am we should be moving to the starting line already. | |

| The event is over, I hope most got a great dose of positive emotions! Overall, the atmosphere was warm and exciting, the number of cyclists amazing, and the goods fare pretty useful. Although I saw a few people fell during the 40 km ride, some quite badly. Wish them a quick recovery. Hope you guys on this forum arrived safe.
