Biking to Desaru : 22 April to 23 April 2011

Hi guys, i believe there might be more drop out for this desaru trip and not to worry as i got some back up ppl who wish to join in also....but also not to worry just stick where u are and those ppl who confirm to drop out pls note once drop out already there no return back....i take it as confirmation already....coz i still have ppl who wanted to go also...

i will ask Mary to bring the list which she had updated from the forum those who are going when they already had put their name down in the 1st place...will brief u all again on this coming sunday.....tentatively i had told Mary to book 8 rooms for Pulai resort and 2 ferrys 1st in case might afraid the ferry and resort full house.....

pls understand us coz we really need you all to be patience and co-operation with us.....and we hope this coming april trip will be very fun and enjoyable ride.....with lots of makan, photo and fun ride ^.^

Looking at the list, yes, most are foldies, but some others are MTB / roadies. My son is MTB.

overall i can say is slope sure can conquer 1......dun mind about the speed as we are not into competition just cycle as per our own pace....sure will reach our destination....but most importantly WATER really need to prepare enough for consumption as the heat there is really very very very hot.....bring BIG HAT or CAP to protect head and face to prevent cao tar.....if have wear warmer to keep urself been TAN......or u wan bare body to cycle i also dun mind....hehehe

wear swimming trunk... free sun tan... haha.

I guess most important is still water. Both my son and myself is camel... needs lot of water to survive

Correction: camels dun need to take in water frequently to survive cos of the fats in their humps and their resistance to rough weather.. lol

you guys will love the coffeeshop! their half-boiled kampong chicken eggs are unlike any you can find in SG!

2 half boiled egg before the long long trip.... power!

Gel actually not too good for body! Can taobao at the town before move off! There are a few shops selling cakes and stuff. Anyway its 50+km..for u sub sub water!
