- Hi Clarence. Should we do a progressive distance built up over the next 7 weeks? Some of us may find 128km challenging while others may find it a piece of cake to others. I reckon at the end of the day, our aim is to ensure the group from team LUV cycling SG complete the rally. Let me know what you think and welcome inputs from all.
Hey hi Matt, From my side point of view....whenever Weekly sunday ride....i will always cycle from my house to meet u guys and after the end of the day i reach home i always click about 70km and above....today i had click about 71km...so i also open to you guys idea where to cycle....my mini half island is easy too....see when u needed me to show u mini half island u may sms or post here..... or u got anyplace to cycle west coast, jurong, kanji, mandai, sentosa, ecp coastal, i am fine with it

| Let me check with NTU what's the time we need to complete the 128KM. Sunday rides are a lot more relax and we get to rest for long period. Will get back on this. If we have a min. speed of 20km/h, it will take around 6.4hrs to complete.
Would you like to map out the mini half island route and the stop points? Next Sat is 01 Jan! Good start for the new year and week after is Pengarang! Happening leh!

| Hey guys, for starters we could try the long (and straight) route from vivocity to the end of west coast highway. I notice a lot of roadbikers use that route on sundays. it's a very easy and straight-forward, yet long route.. | |

Happening leh! sure Matt i will come out a route and rest point, in order to train hard my rest will not have many....i think is about 2 or 3 stop....coz the problem is if u stop u will not paddle anymore but if u wan more rest stop we also can do that, just to stop for a drink and rest for 5min and then contiune to move on....remember ur legs is ur engine....hehehe....

I read that in order to qualify for 168km, u need to complete a certain stage by x timing. Will check for you too.

This a another option, the downside is there are lots of big trucks along this route.

| Hi Matt,
Our speed is ard 25 - 30... in fact, at this speed can't last for too long. Not unless you got good stamina and leg power.
Not unless your bike is upgraded, else, not easy to meet timing + distance.

| Matt, from my experiences, there are much lesser trucks on Sundays along west coast highway. but just as steve suggested, we could also ride at night. As early as 8pm on Sunday nights, traffic along this road becomes almost non-existent. | |

Not unless your bike is upgraded, else, not easy to meet timing + distance. It will be alot easier to achieve that with less traffic lights. Just like those long straight roads at Ecp.
