- Eddie, further to yr discussion w Peter, we are keen to drive up with u guys. Not sure if Peter decides to participate in e ride though.
He knows Penang quite well. And said he can arrange for service apt that can take up to six-eight pax per family room. Do make arrangement to meet up for further discussion Just now myself, Mary and Zack were talking about u driving up. Ask Peter register first. Worst case forfeit $30 nia... better than later regret not registering.

Its back to our convoy again! From Aug to Dec, instruction given is to freeze all vacation due to a project rolling out on 1Jan 12, that's why I need to check with boss first. If really really want to go without taking leave on Mon, I can fly back on Sunday night (will check flight schedule)

emailed to the organiser.. hope they get back to me soon.. Understand the Organizer has temporary suspended registration because of sudden surge of volume from the representatives of LBS. They are doing some "booking-keeping" now and once clear up and if any places left will open for booking. Suggest constant monitor and continue trying whenever possible of the online Registration. Wish everyone the very best and hope everyone make a successful registration. Best regards / Bil

| Everyone taking part should planned to arrived in Penang latest by the evening of 10th Sept, best before dinner, ... after dinner will have enough time to REST.
I will be glad to suggest one or two good dinner places meet up for a good "loading" (depending on respective taste buds) to prepare for the next day early morning Ride .. 11th Sept.
After the Ride ... we may also "gang" up for dinner if so desire by anyone.
Please do your accommodation booking & arrangement as soon as possible .. 3000 cyclists plus others crowd ...good value for the money rooms will be getting tough to get too.
We can schedule to meet up in Penang as soon as everyone itinerary is known and confirmed.
Anyone may PM me if require any assistance. I will gladly extend best effort to help wherever possible.
Best regards / Bil | |

| hi patrick,
i don't think you guys will have any problem climbing it. The toughest is a 6km climb, after that it's undulating.

| Aiya ... why are you all so humble wan ... 100% sure sure no problem for anyone of you -lah. Climbing make sure have granny gears to help out. Myself possible will thumb a lift from the pick-up lorry to bail out, as I will be using my Brompton 6 gears, lowest is 33 inches ... 95% of the time the bike will carry me and 5% the lorry will carry me & my bike ....... | |
